This formulation features MAISITA 9040 which is a physically treated native corn starch used as a rheology modifier. This ingredient improves skin feel, reduces stickiness and greasiness of emulsions and, provides a mattifying effect.

Procedure
- Grind citric acid from Phase A to obtain a fine powder. Blend ingredients of Phase A until homogenous.
- Melt the Cocoa Butter from Phase B, and then add it to the powder mixture with Lavender Oil. Mix with your hands till homogenous, to obtain a “wet sand” sensation.
- Press the powder into the mold, and put into the freezer to solidify the mix. After 15 minutes, remove from the mold.
