Kinetic Sand Exfoliant

For smooth and soft skin, this Kinetic Sand Exfoliant is the perfect addition to a bath time routine!

This Kinetic Sand Exfoliant formulation features the following ingredients:

• TEGO® Betain F 50 which is a very pure, mild, concentrated surfactant. It is microbiologically stable without preservatives and exhibits good foaming and thickening properties. Although it is a liquid it is easily thickened. This surfactant is very pure and preservative-free.
• REWOPOL® SB FA 30 B is an anionic surfactant, very mild to skin and mucous membranes. This ingredient exhibits a synergism with other anionic surfactants.
• SPHERILEX® 10 PC is a versatile and eco-friendly option to microplastics in leave-on and color cosmetic applications. It has the ability to work with a wide range of ingredients makes this a go-to ingredient for sustainable formulations.
• SIPERNAT® 50 S is silica with particularly high absorption capacity that enhances flowability and prolongs the shelf life of powdered substances which are liable to caking, especially those with high-fat content

Procedure for Kinetic Sand Exfoliator

1. Mix Phase A and add to a mixture of 7g SIPERNAT® 50 S and 1g of SPHERILEX® 10 PC.
2. Mix Phase B and add the mixture to 3g SIPERNAT® 50 S.
3. Combine both powder mixture. If they are sticky, add silica (e.g. SPHERILEX® 10 PC or TEGO® Feel C 10) as the free flow enhancer.
4. Add water to the powder mixture until a formable mass is obtained.
