Soothing Aloe-Turmeric Lotion Bar

This soothing lotion bar contains Biochemica^® Turmeric Butter and Aloe Butter whose anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits help soothe and hydrate dry skin. Because the formulation melts upon contact with the skin, it includes Biochemica^® Olive Oil to help with spreadability as well as sunflower wax and Olivem^® 900 which stays on skin’s surface as a protective barrier.

The anhydrous moisturizers in this lotion bar do not contain parabens, preservatives, synthetic fragrances or animal products. The water-free formulation is also a great opportunity for minimal, eco-friendly packaging.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE

1	Place phase A into the main vessel and heat contents to about 80°C while mixing.
2	When phase A is fully molten and homogeneous, add phase B and mix until batch is homogeneous.
3	Do not expose Tocopherol to prolonged period of heating.
4	Promptly pour phase AB in a mold and allow to set at room temperature.
