Powder-to-Cream Lip Powder with AEROSIL® R 812 S and SPHERILEX® 10 PC has a dry water effect and is the perfect way to color your lips!
The formulation features AEROSIL® R 812 S is a fumed silica which provides effective rheology control in complex liquid systems. Water or dilute aqueous solutions can be converted to a dry powder with the help of superhydrophobic AEROSIL® R 812. The powdery product can contain up to 95 % w/w of an aqueous phase.
SPHERILEX® 10 PC is a versatile and eco-friendly option to microplastics in leave-on and color cosmetic applications. The benefits of SPHERILEX® in color cosmetics is that the uniform particle size distribution provides a unique, silky-smooth non-drying skin feel. It can be used in a wide range of applications such as powder and lipstick formulations to give a silky matte look.

Procedure for Powder-to-Cream Lip Powder with AEROSIL® R 812 S and SPHERILEX® 10 PC
- Add all ingredients of Phase 1 in the blender
- Stir until homogeneous mixture is obtained
- Add Phase 2 and mix until free flowing powder is obtained
