Our mission is to to promote the adoption, creation, and dissemination of open educational resources in behavior analysis.

The Open Educational Resources Special Interest Group is a membership group within the Association for Behavior Analysis International whose purpose is to promote the specific interests of its members. Specifically, the organization shall:
(a) Provide information about quality open or low-cost educational, training, and research resources.
(b) Provide a forum for those creating OERS to collaborate on new projects, reduce individual workload involved in creating and managing OERs, and recruit reinforcement for works produced outside of commercial publication venues.
(c) Disseminate information to promote its mission to a wider audience.
(d) Organize an annual meeting to provide a forum for discussion of the affairs of the SIG.
